The most common questions about the All Season Pergola, installation, and support.

louver detail
What is the All Season Pergola?

It's a motorized louvered roof — an outdoor cover whose aluminum louvers rotate up to 140° to give you sun, shade, or full protection from rain and snow at the touch of a button. Open, it lets in up to 85% natural light; closed, it seals against the weather.

Can it really handle rain and snow?

Yes. Closed, the louvers seal with a bumper-seal gasket and the patented gutter — the largest water capacity in the category — drains through the posts. The system is rated to 150 mph winds and 60 lbs/sq ft of snow load.

Does it close automatically if it rains?

Yes — a rain sensor comes standard on every unit and closes the louvers automatically the moment rain begins while they're open.

What's the warranty?

The best in the category: a 40-year engineered system lifespan, lifetime warranty on the aluminum, 10 years on components, and 5 years on motors and electronics. Typical competitors offer 10-year limited coverage with 1-year electronics.

What colors are available?

Four standard powder-coated colors at no upcharge — White, Adobe, Bronze, and Black — which can be mixed and matched between the frame and ceiling. Any custom RAL or Pantone color is available for an upcharge.

How is it installed and mounted?

Free-standing or attached, with house-mount, roof-mount, free-standing, and surface/footing options — over decks, patios, pools and hot tubs, outdoor kitchens, BBQs, and fire pits, with overhangs up to three feet and one remote controlling up to six bays.

Can I add lighting, heat, fans, or misting?

Yes. RGB and puck lighting, overhead heaters, a pre-engineered ceiling-fan beam, and an integrated misting system (which cools the space 10–20°F) can all be built in — along with trim upgrades, rafter tails, post skirts, and solar power.

Where is it built?

It's designed, engineered, extruded, powder-coated, and assembled in-house in Ogden, Utah, with aluminum sourced from Texas — backed by 30+ years in the category and 7 U.S. patents.

Do you offer commercial installations?
